CVH staff celebrated our new premises in Goulburn Street with an Open Day in October 2006. Over 800 adults and children toured the new veterinary hospital, hundreds of pets had free pet health checks, kids were fascinated by the native animals, birds and reptiles of Australian Wildlife Displays and the fantastic insect collection of LoveBugs, dogs learnt new tricks in obedience classes, children interacted with beautiful show cats, puppies, alpacas and Clydesdale horses – and everyone had the chance to win giveaways all day.
